"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know which one you're gonna get."
-Forest Gump
Life is full of mysteries, like gravity,
like the inner workings of the feminine mind,
why dogs eat poop (kibble doesn't taste THAT bad...),
or where babies really come from,
and surprises
like ordering french fries and finding an onion ring in the box,
like spotting a big spider in the bathroom after you've already sat on the toilet,
like waking up in the morning and finding out that the old senile cat forgot where the litter box was
and pooped instead right where you step out of bed every morning,
like waking into the wrong public bathroom,
and strange circumstances
like seeing a long lost friend,
or meeting a school teacher who'd much prefer not to see you at all in the grocery store,
like finding a five dollar bill on the ground,
like running into an ex while with your current girl friend,
and inconveniences
like getting lost while on a alleged "short cut"
like pulling a muscle trying to get someplace quicker and inadvertently taking longer than if you
had walked there in the first place,
or like buying gas and then it to be cheaper one block over,
like tripping on level ground,
and cause and effect,
like gaining weight off of only ONE cheese burger,
like locking yourself outside your own car,
like getting bruised playing red-rover with linebackers,
like getting grounded because you shot your sister in the face with a foam rocket after she claimed she could catch it.
