This is my poem for creative writing.
I'd say it isn't much,
but then again, what would you do
if you were told to write .
About what?
There really isn't anything on my mind,
which isn't a surprise,
I think quite frequently, during school that is;
But after school, what do I do?
Homework? Sometimes.
I may come home and sleep,
when six hours isn't enough.
Or I may play my piano,
though I never learned how.
I may day dream to a favorite song,
one of my favorite pass times.
I may have a "small snack"
and accidentally eat dinner.
And then on some rare occasion,
I may just sit and think.
Thinking takes energy and well,
thought.
It may be hard sometimes to think,
when you don't know what to think about.
But then you start thinking about thinking,
which is called metacognition.
And after all this thinking, you look up at the time,
and lo and behold, it's already time to go to sleep.
And you then reach the realization, that through all that,
you never really came to any conclusion, or revelation.
And with that, go to sleep.
Leaving the poem,
with an abrupt ending.
